Moulded from impact resistant Sika F180 Polyurethane materials.
The covers come our shiny black, but may need to be prepared and spray painted to match your engine.
The covers are not as perfect as new ex Japan items, as the mound was made from a used PE400 – but they will be water tight and are rather tough. Please note this will not be as strong as the new original cover – but it is a good substitute.
The gasket surface has been sanded with fine grit sandpaper on a glass table top surface for a flush mount onto the engine casing. The bolt hole top area has also been flattened to give your bolts the best possible fitment.
The cover does not say “Magnesium” as the original would, as it is not magnesium 😉
This is currently installed on my own PE250 and is working perfectly.
